S&S Cam Chest Kit for Harley Davidson Milwaukee Eight
Complete cam chest kits for HD M8 that include oil pump, cam plate, Quickee pushrods, black or chrome pushrod covers, premium tappets, aluminum hard anodized tappet cuffs, a performance camshaft and all necessary gaskets, bearings and hardware required for the installation.
Kits for gear driven cams include all parts necessary to convert to gear drive for improved cam timing accuracy and eliminate the stock cam chain tensioner.

Features:
- Kits include cam, oil pump, cam plate, pushrods, pushrod tubes, tappets, tappet cuffs, top and bottom collars, keepers and seals
- Heavy Duty valve springs included with 540 & 550 kits
- All parts in each kit are matched to ensure superior quality, fit, finish and performance
- Chain drive kits include S&S High Performance cam chain tensioner
- Gear drive cam kits include all parts needed to convert to a reliable cam drive with improved valve timing accuracy
Oil Pump/Cam Plate
- Precision-machined from billet aluminum with a blue anodized finish
- Passage plugs are removable for servicing
- Independent scavenge sections for the flywheel cavity and cam chest
- Debris screens in both scavenge pickups
- Increased oil flow capacity on both the feed and scavenge side
- Magnet in cam chest side to help to stop debris from entering oil pump
- Adjustable pressure relief valve is adjustable with the unit installed in the engine
Tappets & Tappet Cuffs
- S&S Precision tappets hand assembled to exact tolerances
- Reduced valvetrain noise from start up to shut down
- Close tolerances for low leak down rates
- Fast pump up and superior high rpm performance
- Billet aluminum tappet cuffs have a hard-anodized black coating and are stronger than stock to eliminate distortion
- Improved tappet stability in high lift and high rpm situations
465 Camshaft
- Bolt-in. Compatible with all stock valve train components
- 465 is a high torque cam, recommended for Touring as it adds low end pull
- 465 cams provide increased torque and horsepower
- Available in both gear drive and chain drive
475 Camshaft
- Bolt-in. Compatible with all stock valve train components
- Bolt-in 100 horsepower! (when combined with performance intake and exhaust)
- Designed for bolt-in applications on 107”/114” motors, compatible with all stock valve train components
- Available in both gear drive and chain drive
540 Camshaft
- Recommended for Big Bore Touring bikes as it adds a lot of low end torque
- 540 cam powerband further enhances massive torque output of the popular 124” and 128” Big Bore Kits
- The 540 requires adjustable pushrods and new valve springs to accommodate higher lift, these are included in the kit
- Available in both gear drive and chain drive
550 Camshaft
- 550 is an ideal horsepower cam for 114” and larger Big Bore engines
- 550 cam is a higher lift version of the 475 for higher RPM power
- The 550 requires adjustable pushrods and new valve springs to accommodate higher lift, these are included in the kit
- Available in both gear drive and chain drive
