Features:
- Produces more power and torque in the riding rpm range, improving throttle response, acceleration and fuel mileage
- Smooth camshaft lobe ramps are easier on valvetrain components and eliminate excessive valvetrain noise and wear
- Dyno proven and track tested
- See cam specific features below
405 Camshaft
- Produces a wide powerband that increases torque and horsepower throughout the entire rpm range
- Direct bolt-in replacement for M-Eight engines; can be used with stock valve springs, pushrods, lifters and exhaust
- Will respond well when used with slip-on mufflers or full exhaust system and a high-flow air cleaner
- Feuling recommends mufflers with smaller cores for the best low-rpm power
- 1700 - 5700 rpm range
- 405 Grind Camshaft Installation Instructions For Milwaukee Eight Engines
465 Camshaft
- Produces solid bottom-end performance and substantial gains above 2800 rpm compared to the stock cams
- Direct bolt-in replacement for M-Eight engines; can be used with stock valve springs, pushrods, lifters and exhaust
- Will respond well when used with slip-on mufflers or a full exhaust system and a high-flow air cleaner
- Use of performance valve springs is not required but may result in a quieter, smoother-running valve train
- Responds well when combined with increased engine bore and/or engine compression
- 1850 - 5950 rpm range

472 Camshaft
- Great all-around camshaft and Feulings go to for 4-1/2 stroke 114” - 117” engines looking for a little more than the 465 grind and wanting a bolt-in
- Has a great bottom end with substantial gains above 2800 rpm when compared to stock
- Use of performance valve springs is not required but may result in a quieter, smoother-running valve train, see B962-09262973 or B962-09262974
- Responds very well to increased bore and or compression, exhaust system and air cleaner

508 Camshaft
- The Grim Reaper Aggressive pulling power with a nasty sound
- This camshaft revs up faster than the 521 grind, sounds nastier and pulls harder, but is more difficult to tune
- The Reaper 508 grind will shine in 114” and larger cubic inch engines with added compression ratio
- Ported cylinder heads are not required, but will complement the cam and add even more pulling power throughout the range
- The stock throttle body produces an excellent powerband and use of a high-flow throttle body will increase peak power numbers
- A high-flow exhaust system and air cleaner is highly recommended for optimal performance
- Feuling recommends matching 508 cam with Race Series oiling system B962-09320199
- Requires high lift valve springs; see B962-09262973 or B962-09262974
- Heavy-duty pushrods are highly recommended; see B962-09280091
- 2250 - 5900 rpm range
521 Camshaft
- Aggressive pulling power with a “nasty” sound, the Reaper 521 grind will shine in 114” and larger cubic inch engines with added compression ratio
- Ported cylinder heads are not required, but will complement the cam and add even more pulling power throughout the range
- Stock throttle body produces an excellent powerband; use of a high-flow throttle body may increase peak power numbers
- A high-flow exhaust system and air cleaner is highly recommended for optimal performance
- Feuling recommends matching 521 cam with Race Series oiling system B962-09320199
- Requires high lift valve springs, see B962-09262973 or B962-09262974
- Heavy-duty pushrods are highly recommended, see B962-09280091
- 2250 - 6250 rpm range
538 Camshaft
- Aggressive camshaft with a nasty sound
- Revs up fast and pulls hard in engines with big bore cylinders, modified cylinder heads, intake, compression and exhaust
- The Reaper 538 grind will shine in 124” and larger cubic inch engines with added compression ratio
- Feuling recommends matching 538 cam with Race Series oiling system B962-09320199
- High lift valve springs are required on stock cylinder heads, see Feuling Beehive valve spring kit B962-09262973 or B962-09262974
- Heavy-duty pushrods are highly recommended, see B962-09280091
- 2250 - 6250 rpm range
592 Camshaft
- Get serious with bore size, ported cylinder heads and throttle body
- Aggressive camshaft requiring high lift and higher load valve springs, performance pushrods and lifters
- High-flow air cleaner and triple-stepped exhaust pipe highly recommended
- Feuling also recommends matching this cam with Race Series oiling system B962-09320199 or B962-09320218
- Heavy-duty pushrods are highly recommended see B962-09280091
- High lift valve springs, performance pushrods and lifters required
- 2850 - 6250 rpm range
General product notes:
Note: Screamin’ Eagle cylinder heads have high-lift valve springs and do accept the 521 grind cam.
Note: Due to the unstable nature of this 4-valve engine design with one rocker arm activating two valve springs, Feuling highly recommends running one-piece pushrods over quick-install adjustable pushrods to maintain maximum cam/valve lift and reduce valvetrain harmonics and associated hydraulic lifter issues.
Note: Feuling fastener kit B962-24010994 also highly recommended to help prevent cylinder head cracking, kit replaces the rocker shaft bolts with studs and nuts to help reduce the stress of the rocker shaft standoffs.
