S&S Twin Cam Crankcase Assembly for Harley Davidson
Replacement crankcases for Touring and Dyna Twin Cam engines for standard and big bore applications. Crankcases for the Softail engine, with internal balancers, is not available from S&S. These crankcases offers greater overall strength than OEM cases, especially in the front motor mount, which is an important in high performance applications.
The case is CNC machined from high strength heat treated aluminum, making these S&S cases much more cost effective than billet cases. A Timken style sprocket shaft bearing is used to best withstand the most demanding applications.
Available in standard, 4" and 4-1/8" bore versions in a silver or black powder coated finish. All oil passages between crankcase and gear cover are o-ring sealed. Cases are compatible with stock components like oil pump, cam support plate and gear cover. Cases include hardware and installation instructions.
Note: Touring models require A077-493482 early style sprocket shaft spacer or equivalent, for the charging system.

Oil line fitment:
- 99-05 Dyna requires a oil line installation kit, which is no longer available. Custom fabrication is required.
- 99-06 Touring requires A299-804704 oil line installation kit.
- 07-16 Touring requires A541-438946 oil line installation kit.
- 06-17 Dyna requires A666-461071 oil line installation kit.

- Rear motor mount bolts directly to the stock transmission; fully compatible with the stock primary, charging system, and other stock components
- Available with stock bore (ideal for replacement applications), and 4,125” bore engines with stock or S&S stud pattern (ideal for custom applications and for use with the S&S 124” Hot Set Up Kit
- Available with silver powdercoat or black powdercoat
- 99-06 cases are clearanced for strokes up to 5" and cams up to .675" valve lift.
- 07-17 cases are clearanced for strokes up to 4-13/16" and cams up to .720" valve lift.
