S&S TC3 Cam Plate & Oil Pump Kit for Harley Davidson Twin Cam
The S&S TC3 oil pump and cam support plate are highly recommended for any cam installation and are a direct replacement for Twin Cam stock style oil pump and cam support plate. Compatible with chain & gear driven camshafts. Offers all round improvement over the stock components.
Both the oil pump and cam support plate are CNC machined forged aluminum for strength and precision. The camshaft support plate offers an adjustable oil pressure regulator, passage plugs are removable for service, a rebuildable bronze pinion shaft bushing and for 07-17 models rebuildable bronze cam bushings. The oil pump features three stages for consistent pressure and increased oil scavenging for a reliable oil return. separate scavenge sections for flywheel cavity and cam chest without interference, and screens and magnetic traps to help protect the scavenge rotors from debris. The S&S design tolerates more pinion shaft run out without damage.
Note: 99-06 models must use hydraulic chain tensioner in chain drive applications which is purchased separately
