S&S Flywheel Assemblies for Harley Davidson Evolution Big Twin Engines
The flywheel assembly is the heart of any performance engine and S&S has been perfecting the art for over six decades. Stronger, more durable, and trued to a spec others can only dream of, these flywheel assemblies for the Evo Big Twin are the best of the best to build your high performance engine around.
These crankshaft assemblies for Evolution Big Twin are a direct replacement for 1984-1989 models and also work in 1990-1999 models when installed in conjunction with the S&S 77-99 Pinion Shaft Gear / Conversion Kit. Contrary to the OEM crankshaft in 1990-1999 models these crankshafts feature a separate sprocket shaft and pinion shaft, which makes a rebuild possible. Another great advantage is that the 1984-1989 style pinion shafts have proven to be much stronger as the OEM design used in 1990-1999 models.
Flywheels for fuel injected models are notched for use with the required crankshaft position sensor. Used with stock or S&S A052-438457 series pistons. Rebalancing is not required.
