Note: 1999–2004 stock valve springs will handle camshafts with lift up to 0.510". If a camshaft with higher lift is installed, high lift valve springs must be used.
Note: We highly recommend replacing the pushrods with S&S Quickee pushrods, it allows quicker, easier installation of the cam without the removal of the rocker covers. OEM pushrods may be cut to permit removal without rocker disassembly.
Note: Chain drive cams for 99-06 Twin Cam are for use with stock 00-06 Twin Cam splined outer drive gears, for installation on 99 Twin Cam motors you must purchase a splined outer drive sprocket separately, S&S recommends using Andrews Splined Outer Cam Driven Gear 34T.

- Designed as a bolt-in, high torque cam for 99-06 models with 88" engines and stock compression ratio
- Lower lift allows them to be mounted with stock valve springs, pushrods, and lifters
- Compression releases are not necessary with this cam

- Strongest from 1000 - 4500 RPM
510 Camshaft
- High torque bolt-in cam for models with 88/95/96" engines and compression ratio below 9.7:1
- Lower lift allows them to be mounted with stock valve springs, pushrods, and lifters
- Great midrange torque
- Strongest from 3000 - 5500 RPM
551 Camshaft
- Bolt-in cam optimized for 88/96/103/106” Touring bikes with slip-on mufflers and 9.1 to 9:9 compression
- Best bolt-in cam available for most 05-16 Dressers
- Can be used with stock pushrods, springs and lifters for all models except 99-04 that require high lift valve springs
- Greatly improves low-end and midrange torque
- Strongest from 1000 - 4000 RPM
557 Camshaft
- Bolt in cam designed for Tri-Glide models that produces lots of useable torque for heavy bikes

570 Camshaft
- Bolt-in cam designed for 88/96/103" engines with 9:1-10:1 compression ratios
- This bolt-in cam will provide a nice power increase across the entire power band
- Great for 103" engines with stock compression rate
- Can be used with stock pushrods, valve springs and lifters for all models except 99-04 that require high lift valve springs
- Strongest from 3200 - 5700 RPM
583 Camshaft
- Designed for use as a great overall bolt-in cam for Softail and Dyna, but can be used in any Big Twin application
- Can be used with stock pushrods, springs and lifters for all models except 99-04 that require high lift valve springs
- Provides strong low-end torque and horsepower you can really feel all the way through the rpm range, making the most power right where you need it
- Strongest from 1500 - 5000 RPM
585 Camshaft
- 585 bolt-in cams are designed for 88"-95" engines with compression ratios from 9.7:1 to 10.5:1 and 100"-124" engines with compression ratios from 9:1 to 10:1
- Can be used with stock pushrods, springs and lifters for all models except 99-04 that require high lift valve springs and adjustable pushrods
- Provides massive horsepower and torque increases starting at 3000 rpm and holds steady all the way to redline
- Strongest from 3500-6000 RPM for 88"-103" engines and 2500-5500 RPM for larger engines
625 Camshaft
- 625 chain drive cams are for 95” or larger engines with compression ratios between 10.0 and 10.75:1
- High-lift springs and adjustable pushrods required
- Strongest from 3000 - 6000 RPM
640 Camshaft
- Designed for S&S T124 engines - This cam makes horsepower!
- Intended for 95"-110" engines with compression ratios between 10.5:1 and 11.5:1

MR103 Camshaft
- Bolt-in cam for stock -12 and later 103" Twin Cam engines with stock 9.7:1 compression ratio up to 10.5:1

- More power across the rpm range
- Strongest from 2500 - 5500 RPM
HP103 Camshaft
- Bolt-in cam for stock -12 and later 103" Twin Cam engines with stock 9.7:1 compression ratio up to 10.5:1
- Broad torque curve improves output over the entire RPM range
- Works well with stock, un-ported heads, but is great for ported heads.
- Ideal for lighter bikes and racing applications where getting the most horsepower from a stock engine is imperative
- Best power in the higher rpm range
- Strongest from 3000 - 6000 RPM
635 Camshaft
- High lift cam for modified engines with 106" or greater displacement and compression ratios between 10.0:1 and 11.0:1
- Works well with stock, un-ported heads, but ported heads are recommended
- This is not a bolt-in cam set
- High-lift springs and clearance checks are required
- Strongest from 3000 - 6000 RPM
What is Easy Start Cams?
Start any engine regardless of displacement or compression ratio with the stock starter. The most innovative S&S product since the electric compression release system, these cams will revolutionize the starting of late model big twins. These cams also install just as easily as non compression release versions and require no extra parts or machining! Available in both economical chain drive and rock-solid gear drive. Don't get caught without them!
How do Easy Start Cams Work?
The heart of the Easy Start cams is a centrifugally retracted, spring loaded, compression release lobe milled into the heel of each exhaust lobe. At cranking speeds, the lobe bumps the exhaust valve open slightly during the compression stroke, making the engine much easier to turn over. Once the engine fires and reaches 800 RPM, the lobe swings out of the tappet roller path, allowing the engine to run normally and with full compression.
