Performance Machine Vintage 4-piston Brake Caliper
In style with the times Performance Machine introduced their Vintage Brake Caliper.Contrary to the looks it is not a 2-piston caliper, it is designed to have a vintage flair, but modern 4-piston engineering is used. It is a mixture of technical excellence and an aesthetic work of art.
The Vintage Ribs are actually reinforcing ribs to decrease flexing, improving brake feel, control and aid in cooling when the going gets hot. The bodies, or caliper halves, are CNC machined from one-piece billet bar, a much more homogeneous material, giving it a natural material strength advantage over regular cast calipers.
When it comes down to the nitty gritty, the Performance Machine Vintage Caliper will not only cut the cake, but cut it better.
Note: Bracket must be purchased separately or be custom made.
Features:
- With mounting ears, 89 mm (center to center).
- Front brackets sold separately and can be found here (for 11.5" rotors) and here (for 11.8" rotors)
- Takes regular 4-piston caliper 125x4R brake pads
- Caliper is symmetrical and can therefore be used left, right, front or rear.
- Optional color center bolts available here
- CNC machined billet aluminum
- 9/16" master cylinder recommended for single disc application
- 11/16" master cylinder recommended for dual disc application
- Compatible with DOT4 or DOT5 brake fluid
