The fluid is non-aggressive to painted surfaces and plastics, and its non-hygroscopic nature means it won't absorb water, making it an excellent choice for vehicles not used frequently. It's important to note that DOT 5 Silicone brake fluid is not compatible with anti-lock brakes (ABS) or anti-slip regulation (ASR) systems and should not be mixed with DOT 3 or 4 fluids.
