Seat Review for Iron XL883N
I’ve just installed the seat on my Iron XL883N, and it fits perfectly – both in terms of fitment and looks. The quality is excellent, and it really enhances the overall appearance of the bike. I'm currently riding with mid controls, and while the seat works fine with that setup, I have a strong feeling it would perform even better with forward controls. The shape of the seat doesn’t quite align naturally with my hips in the current position, but when I simulate having forward controls, everything just seems to fall into place more comfortably.
There is minimal lower back support – just enough to keep you reasonably in place during normal riding, but I wouldn’t choose this seat for longer trips or a more powerful motorcycle. For that kind of use, I’d go for something more built-up and supportive.
All in all, I’m very satisfied – the seat delivers in terms of looks and comfort for shorter rides, and it really elevates the visual appeal of the bike.
