The Bridgestone Battlax A41 Motorcycle Tyre features a new compound containing a combination of two special components, Silica Rich Ex and RC Polymer. It is worth noting that the two compounds used in this tyre, Polymer and Silica, are usually not compatible, however Bridgestone have been able to promote a link between them which has been developed using their own key technology, Nano-Pro Tech which contributes to the improvement of wet performance, and improving tyre longevity and reducing performance 'drop-off'.
Bridgestone's multi-layer compound construction on the A41 delivers noticeably better contact feel, feedback, stability and grip. With both the front and rear tyres featuring this three-layer compound (3LC), their harder centre compound results in good stability and longevity, which is flanked either side by a softer shoulder compound to provide high levels of grip and bump absorption. Upgrading the contact patch and distributing pressure in the contact area provides ultimate handling and grip feel, and a breakthrough in tackling tricky conditions. The Battlax A41’s robust construction is your guarantee of long-lasting and consistent performance, whatever the road throws your way.
The Bridgestone Battlax A41 Motorcycle Tyre features high tensile super penetrated cord (HTSPC) - this is a Steel cord material comprised of individually rubber insulated inner filaments with high thermal conductivity to enhance heat transfer and reduce the risk of blowout. An added benefit of this feature is that moisture does not accumulate between filaments, reducing the chance of oxidation. HTSPC promotes high speed stability and durability of the tyre as a whole, as well as grip performance and superior shock absorption. The tyre also has a Mono-Spiral Belt - lightweight and durable cords are wrapped around the circumference to provide a smooth grip feeling. This contributes to a high performance tyre with weight reduction, improvement in grip, rotational stability, high speed performance and excellent damping effect.
Additional features include the optimised groove position, this enables large block sizes for high tread stiffness and greater friction, even on wet surfaces.
